In the first week of October, we are playing a number of concerts for the Cumnock Tryst Festival. There is a Polish slant to our programming, but also many premieres. Exactly twenty years ago, we premiered James MacMillan's "Cumnock Fair" in the High School hall as part of a Scottish Chamber Orchestra concert. We include this piece in our first programme, which is a collaboration with Capella Nova, and takes place in Trinity Church in Ayr Street.
