Piazzolla's Contramilonga a la Funerala

Mr McFall's Chamber have established a reputation for producing authentic performances of Argentinean tango composer Astor Piazzolla. The most elaborate performance to date took place at The Queen's Hall in Edinburgh on 16 May 2013 where the ensemble staged his mini-operita Maria de Buenos Aires, to critical acclaim - reviews.

The operita featured a beautiful backdrop from Argentinean filmmaker Geraldine Comte, captured in these clips in conjunction with El Duende (the narrator) Juanjo Lopez Vidal, also a producer and tango expert.

Plans are underway to stage a full tour in the summer of 2016, to coincide with the group's 20th birthday.
