Our popular annual event for composers, Electronics, will take place in February. McFall's musicians are joined by sound engineer Ben Seal and composer-mentor Pippa Murphy for 3 days of intense workshopping and ideas-sharing on the subject of writing for band and live electronics. The Call for Composers will be released shortly - places are limited.
A grand concert performance of Astor Piazzolla's tango operita Maria de Buenos Aires will be the showstopper piece in our summer schedule. We're excited to welcome back old friends Victor Villena on bandoneon and Cyril Garac on violin for what will be the first ever opportunity to hear this work on Scottish soil.
The band will be on tour again in September for a trademark McFall's programme of new music, featuring contemporary greats alongside commissions and a very special guest. More details will be revealed soon!
